Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium - DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) is a widely used basal medium for a wide variety of mammalian cell cultures, including primary fibroblasts, neurons, glial cells, HUVEC and smooth muscle cells, as well as cell lines such as HeLa, 293, Cos-7 and PC-12. Compared to MEM medium, DMEM medium has a 2-fold increase in amino acids and a 4-fold increase in vitamins, as well as an increase in non-essential amino acids, trace iron ions, and sodium pyruvate.DMEM High Glycolysis is commonly used in the cultivation of fast-growing, low-adherent cells, myeloma cells for hybridomas, clonal cells, transformed cells for DNA transfection, primary viral host cells, single cells and vaccine production, e.g. using CHO cells to express EPO and produce hepatitis B vaccine.

This product contains: D-glucose (4500 mg/L), phenol red, L-glutamine, sodium pyruvate.

This product does not contain: HEPES, Dual Antibodies.
