Phosphate-Buffered Saline(PBS, cell culture grade Phosphate-Buffered Saline) is one of the most commonly used buffer solutions, which is mainly composed of NaCl, KCl, Na₂HPO₄, KH₂PO₄, without Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, and with a pH value of 7.2-7.4. This reagent is sterile-filtered and commonly used for cell washing and other routine purposes during cell culture processes. The solution is prepared as a 1×working solution and can be used directly.
