Clodronate disodium is a specific drug for macrophage ablation, which can remove macrophages from tissues by inducing apoptosis in macrophages. Currently, the ideal reagent for efficient macrophage depletion in the market is Clodronate disodium liposomes, where clodronate disodium molecules are encapsulated in liposomal capsules. These liposomes are characterized by high activity, high stability, and convenient use. Control Liposomes, which are disodium clodronate-free liposomes containing only PBS in the liposomes, can be used in control experiments to see if macrophage depletion is attributed to the effects produced after injection of disodium clodronate liposomes.
